Tattoo

“A man without tattoos is invisible to the Gods.” ~ Iban Proverb

I’ve been developing the art of tattooing since the beginning of 2019. Not an ordinary, banal drawing on the body, but a magical tattoo that carries a personal message and power. I make tattoos with the intention of GOODNESS, which is depicted in dots made around the pattern. That means, that while tattoning the dots I am repeating this word as mantra in my head.

Tattooing is often painful, that’s why the most important for me is mental attitude and intention so as the awareness of the presence and of what is happening with our body and mind exposed to pain. Of course, not every tattoo hurts. But everyone can become a mystical experience, a form of initiation or a symbol that will protect or give power to the one having it tattooed.

During the session I use Palo Santo, sage, Rapee, drum or other instruments and crystals. Sometimes the session is an intense meditation and sometimes it takes the form of a deep conversation or shamanic ritual.

My speciality are floral motifs as well as symbols, ornaments and sacred geometry. My favourite is blackwork and dotwork style . Dotwork is a less painful method of puncture, where the pattern is formed of small dots. In this method I mainly make protective signs and sacred geometry patterns.

What is sacred geometry? For me it is the key to understand the structure of the universe. It is the language of creation and the basis of all life forms. It is also a WAY TO UNDERSTAND who I am, where I come from and where I am going to. Is the matrix of creation; a kind of “bridge” between what is visible and invisible, revealed and unrevealed, finite and infinite. Constantly repeating geometric patterns are the basic building blocks of our body, all animals, plants, planets, solar systems and galaxies.
